2000+ miles 24R

Just returned home from our first outing. The Solera 2014 24R was absolutely great. Everything worked as it should and we had no problems at all.

The unit handles like a dream and performance was excellent. Climbed some fairly steep grades without losing any speed and even accelerated during the climb. Most of the trip averaged 14 mpg running 65. I did hit 15.9 for one leg on flat land with the AC off.

We opted for the 15000 BTU heat-pump and used both functions. It will run you out either cooling or heating .

We were a little concerned about the two piece mattress but those worries were unfounded; it is comfortable.

Both televisions had excellent reception using the standard bat wing antenna. Just let the sets auto scan for stations and we picked up 10 or more in areas I thought I should not have gotten any .

Highly recommend the Solera for those looking for an RV if its size.

Still have not heard from FR concerning the 3 warranty items we had when we picked her up . BC, do you have a contact number for Solera warranty issues?

Glad your first trip didn't disappoint. We've had ours for a year now and have 17,000 miles on the Enterprise. RV'd in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Next month South Carolina and possibly Georgia! No problems in any of our numerous outings! It is small, but very comfy! Have fun.
