Bathroom Sink

Do any of you know if the bathroom sink has a debris screen on the faucet which can be removed for cleaning? It's the inexpensive plastic sink faucet (2014 Solera). I've tried unscrewing the end, but it's resistant. I don't want to break it if it's not removable [emoji57]. Not interested in replacing the faucet. The flow has slowed (both hot and cold) and I suspect the screen is clogged.

Wrap it in a cloth so as not to mark it, and clamp it with vice grips.

Remember to think upside down for loosening it.

Thanks, kenandterry! It was knowing it could be removed, and thinking upside down that did the trick. Its soaking in a little vinegar. Thank you!

Bwah! Now I can't get it to thread back on again. The threads are all cleaned, but the threads won't match up. All plastic -- not the easiest to maintain.

Don't use vice grips. Channel locks is the tool of choice. You warp it with vice grips and you won't get it back in. Channel locks are directional.

Don't have vice grips and/or channel lock. Covered it with a towel and used pliers. Still can't get it back on. [emoji20]
