Any chance this activation is being caused from some other RF source? Maybe some other remote? I know I have a remote controlled light that comes on sometimes by it self. I have also had a remote controled garage door open on its own. Just a thought.

On the back of the fob, it states the frequency of 433 MHz and also states that it must accept any interference received; including interferences that may cause undesired operation.
My rig will come alive at times and I know that it's turned off.

I think we've asked them to stop sending key fobs and just use the manual board until they get it figured out.
There should be a way to disconnect the antenna/receiver on the manual control. That should eliminate any interference that would activate the jacks. Then just push the buttons on the board to drop them.

But I don't have the remote control board. All I have to run the stabiles is the FOB. I'm at a loss as to what needs to be done.

Yes and sent everything on to MJ McGrath at Boise, camping World. They have been talking to the factory about this and the last repairs was under their instruction.

I don't share this sentiment.
First, Brian has made it clear that he contributes here in a largely unofficial capacity - he shares insights and info but any customer should feel free to take their support needs to their dealer and Forest River customer support.
Second, I understand that an RV is a very complex item, made up of a wide variety of bits and pieces from a wide variety of vendors. A system which has worked in the past may run into problems due to a change at the vendor - something FR won't know about until units hit the road. And even then, FR is generally going to try to sort things out with the vendor to get a reasonable solution for everyone...but this can take some time.
And third, for those of us who may not have easy access to dealer support...or who just feel more comfortable knowing what's going on with our own RVs...I think it's great that Brian provides suggestions like these. While I can understand some owners not wanting to mess with it, I don't think disconnecting the antenna is a particularly difficult operation and having that as a suggested workaround seems like a good idea to me.
Just my 0.02 (or maybe 0.03...)
Dave

1. as for the control panel reacting to RF, in my opinion that is exactly what is happening. It is accepting more signals than just the key fob, so just taking out the batteries I don't think is the solution.
2. All I am trying to do is offer suggestions to handle the immediate concern of the levelers extending. Take out the antenna, disconnect power. Whatever is within your means...that at least stops the nightmares of them being energized in transit.
3. Why would we buy equipment and not test it? We have thousands in the field and very few problems. This seems to be fairly isolated and so difficult to troubleshoot. Others have reprogrammed their system per the factory and it has fixed the issue.
4. it is not our system, but because we offer it we have tried to step forward and push the mfg for a solution. They have since sent a fix that seems to work in most cases.
All I am trying to do is offer up other options since the existing ones are not working in addition to asking Bigfoot for help. I will refrain from offering you solutions in the future if you are offended by them.

Well a BIG THANK YOU to Brian. You got the ball rolling with QUADRA and I tried to pass it to CW, but they dropped the ball, again. A big Thank you to Roger Miller from Quadra. He got me the parts directly and phone number for help if I needed. Installing the remote control unit was easy, getting room under the coach to install the wiring was the hard part.
I am very thankful to Brian and Roger for their assistance. They solved my warranty repair problem. Great service from both companies.
THANK YOU very much!

Glad it worked out. Not so glad that it took this long.

I am at the Rally in Phoenix now and my Bigfoot keeps extending without any input. I don't have the remote fob here. Is there a fuse or breaker someplace that I can pull to temporarily disable it until I can get it fixed?

This is their tech support line
(800) 752-9815
There is an antenna on the main control that I think is removable. But try that number and they should be able to help.

Bclemens, I couldn't contact tech support because of the weekend. We needed to drive to Tucson on Sunday so I cut the red wire to the control box in rear compartment, which cut power to the unit. Otherwise it would keep activating and extending uncontrollably and I was afraid to drive it like that. I have a 2015 Solera 24R for 5 months now and this is the first time this problem has happened to us. Not sure why. When we get home I will splice the wire back together and try the factory reset procedure with the remote fob. Hope that works!
