breaker problem with 2011 solera s
The breaker has popped that controls the 120v plugs by the front tv and also by the drivers side of the cabover bed. There is now nothing plugged in but the breaker still pops. Does anyone know what else might be on that breaker that i might check? Unfortunately FR seems to have no wiring diagrams...

We had breaker that kept popping in our old trailer. It turned out to be just a bad breaker. A trip to Lowes with the old one and we were GTG. Every time a breaker pops it wears out. They do also just go bad.

Not a bad breaker. Swapped breakers to confirm. Something on the circuit is shorted. Sure need that wiring diagram. Thanks in advance.

Any chance you may have shorted out your electric heating element in the water heater, and it's on that same circuit?

I would check to see if you have the hidden electric element switch turned on (if applicable)

We keep a copy of the 2010 Solera wiring diagrams in the FRF library:
Forest River Forums - Downloads - 2010 Solera wiring
Don't know what, if any, has changed with a 2011.

At least on my 2012 24S, Wire routed from main panel to the bedroom TV outlet, then to the converter outlet, then the refrigerator outlet, over to the TV outlet above the entry door, and then to the outlet above the driver in the cabover.

Stick your head through the under bed access door and look to your immediate left, you will see the converter secured to the wall against the refrigerator. Follow that power supply to the outlet.
There is a slick modification to get access through the large storage bay from the outside that I found and did a slight adjustment to which was posted earlier.

Can you post a link to the access mod? I can't search the forum on my tablet.
I did find the converter but cannot reach the plug.

Fixed!
It was the converter. As soon as I unplugged it, the breaker no longer popped. I should have known. It was making ugly fan noises occasionally just before the trip. Got a new one at Camping world in Grand Rapids, MI. All working on the electric front.
Fyi, that circuit has the converter, the fridge, the two plugs on either side of the front bunk, the plug at the base of the sink vanity, and the one at the bed. Maybe more...
I went in through the outside storage compartment. It's a tight fit, and a 5/32" allen wrench will live back there forever. Gotta know when to cut your losses. I think that access mod is a good idea, as the converter is barely out of warranty... I expect to replace it again in a few years.
