Check your valve stems!

A while back I had the flex stems replaced with the metal valve stems.

While checking air pressure today I noticed that the three of the stems were tight up against the beauty ring.

I pulled the rings and the stems are severely scored where they rubbed against the simulator.

A blowout waiting to happen!

Ordered new ones and will double check the install this time including proper installation of the supporting grommets. (mine were not installed)

Even with the grommets they can rub against the simulator. The simulator can get loose and move a bit and cause the rubbing. I placed 3/8 clear plastic tubing over my stems as an added measure against wear through.
