Help! Insight, please!
I'm hooked up to 30 amp service, but my battery is getting lower and lower, why? And what to do? When I switch this battery switch to off, the whole couch goes dark- even though I'm hooked up outside?

I don't quite get it. The outlets work and other things that don't without being attached to shore power, or running the gen. So it has to be getting juice from shore, but you turn off the battery then everything goes black, all lights go off, frig, etc. ?????

Your converter is not working at all.
The converter "converts" 120 VAC shore power to 13 - 14 volts DC and charges your battery and runs all the 12 volt DC appliances (like your lights).
There is a circuit breaker in your power panel (might be labeled CONV) that you should turn off and turn back on.

Debbie: Don't feel bad. Same thing happened to my coach. Drove it home first time from the dealer - brand new - and the batteries went dead - didn't seem like they were charging! I, the great know-it-all, was ready to call the dealer and tell them to come and get the darn thing - my wife suggested checking fuses - lo and behold!!!

Breaker would have been my first guess...but that's only because I see it at just about every RV show. At night dealer goes through, flips the breakers to turn the lights out. Next day, they just turn the disconnect on...running off battery, never flipped the breaker back on. by mid day with every light & fan on....starts getting dark. I immediately go flip the breakers. If that's not it....somebody knocked the cord out of the wall.
