New Antenna

Has anyone replaced their standard antenna with anything else, I looking at replacing my with a Winegard Roadstar 3000. Kind of tired of put the old one up and down, Maybe forgetting to put it down.

Do those work better when your out in the middle of nowhere? I don't want to cough up the money for satellite.

My 2015 model comes with the antenna that doesn't need to be lowered/raised. It works really well with local HD channels. You may contact FR for the model. I can also take a look next time I take my unit out of storage.

We now run a "Jack" digital antenna now that is stationary. It looks like a similar set up to the Winegard Roadstar 3000.

X2 on King Jack, installed last year and very happy. It gets more channels. Installed entire small antenna so don't have to worry about putting it down

Don't be confused by the new powered antenna like we were though. The 'on' button is completely obstructed by the cable connection inside the cabinet (it's a very small button).

The first thing we changed out was our crank down antenna to the Jack. Reception is way better, too.

Yup, we were glad to see the 'no crank ems' when they came out after forgetting to wind ours (not once, but twice) down! We saw where we used to get only three channels, we now get eight!!
