Odd warning sticker
I've got an odd warning sticker (see attached jpeg) on my range hood. I'm not sure what it refers to (the hood, or the stove underneath it) and I have no idea why use of either would require that the privacy curtain be "secured".
Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks!
Dave

Just a pure guess, but is there a chance your privacy curtain (or perhaps a pocket door) could get into an open flame on the stove....and catch fire (or close enough to melt) if it's not secured back away from the stove?
Many warning labels are the result of someone's previous bad experience.

If that is on your hood vent and there is a window behind the stove, they probably mean that. Just a guess. We have blinds behind the stove and day/night everywhere else.

Generic, cover all your bases sticker. In my trailer there are some privacy curtains for the bunks close enough to get into the stove top.

we found that if we use the stove the heat or smoke sensor goes off in ceiling near door to bath room. if we close curtain it never goes off. what the danger is I have no idea.

It's a 2015 24R.
Not sure which curtain they're talking about, so I don't have a picture handy. The FR web site has a "virtual tour" here:
http://www.forestriverinc.com/tours/...t.aspx?id=1923
The 24R does have a window behind the sink, so maybe this is referring to the blinds on that window. I dunno!

On 24 R there is an accordian privacy door/blind that is drawn from the bathroom wall to the Frig edge. I think that is it.

Yes...reminds me that California just sued Lowes for calling 2x4's, 2x4's and not explaining that a 2x4 was not really 2" by 4".
If you did not know that a 2x4 was not really 2 inches by 4 inches then you should not be buying them. Unless you want really expensive firewood.

After looking at the virtual tour, when the curtain is closed it is so close to the stove and oven that it could catch fire just from the heat , they are covering all bases so they can't be sued if this does happen. Make sure curtain is open if using either oven or stove top, if they have this its on you if this happens. If the coffee's hot and you don't know it sue them, I can't understand this mentality.
