I have had 2 RVs at a time before. 2 5th wheels at one time a big one and a small one. I have also had a 5th wheel and a truck camper at the same time. Don't need to do all of that again.

Good luck on your new rig and I hope you 2 enjoy many miles and have lots of fun in it.

You can never have too many toys...just ask my husband!

BC: It's now the last day of September. Do you have pictures you can show us, plus explanation?

Here is the new floor plan. It is not a murphy, but a fold out bed.

We were looking at Sprinter-based rigs before we bought our Georgetown. At that time none of them had slides and Mercedes warned against installing levellers. We found the "no slides" a deciding factor in our "No way" decision.

We eventually decided on the GT, an older, used Class A and didn't need to borrow as much! Unfortunately, since those horrible front seats don't have height adjustment and the F53 steering column has very limited angular adjustment and doesn't telescope, DW (a tad under 5') can't drive it. I think she's quietly relieved, as she's intimidated by the size. I worked as a transit coach driver for a couple of years after retiring from Boeing, so 32' seems small compared to a 40' Gillig with 50 people on board. The transit agency I worked for hadn't got into articulated 65-footers or double-deckers.

Thanks for posting the new floor plan. Are there any pictures that you can also share?
