Shower Door Latch

The latch on my shower door broke. After several attempts, my original dealer was able to get a "replacement" latch from Forest River, which was about three times larger than the original. Obviously, it wouldn't fit.

Note that my Solera is a 2015 24R, so the latches may be different from other models. Has anyone had theirs break? Were you able to get a proper replacement or find a solution to keep the door closed while traveling?

Thanks.

The latch lever popped off of mine one time. It was not actually broken and snapped back on. That happened on my 2014.

Same happened on my 2016 24R. I put a piece of cut clear tubing under latch to make it tighter while traveling. Has worked for 4 years.

Thanks Dogspa, I did the same before mine broke. How were you able to get a replacement?

You can try rvlocksforless.com . They had a snap in lock for our shower door. Got it keyed to a Global Lock same as the entry doors

Hmm, that's who I ordered from too and received a very large latch. I've messaged Forest River and I might try All Seasons. Thanks, Jim

Same here. Would it be possible for you to measure your latch? No hurry. Thanks

It will be awhile as it’s parked where I can’t get to it for couple weeks but I will.

That sure looks like the right one, but no dimensions are listed and they don't take returns. Have you ordered this specific one in the past? Go Navy!

I have not ordered one. It sure looks exactly like the one in my RV. You might be able to query them on the dimensions. GO NAVY!
