Slow running lavatory faucet

The lavatory faucet in my 2015 24R runs remarkably slowly. It runs so slowly that the water pump cycles off and on while the faucet is open. (Other faucets, etc, seem to run ok...)

The faucet is molded plastic, with a chrome finish. I'm thinking that I need to remove the aerator and let it run...but the aerator doesn't seem to want to budge...and I don't want to break it.

Any thoughts?

The aerator is properly plugged with debris.
It should screw off.

It was a bit of a battle, but I got the aerator off without breaking anything. I ended up using a pair of pliers with a non-slip rubber pad between the pliers and the plastic.

And it turned out that there was a bit of plastic (clear, thin, flexible) caught in the aerator. It works much better now.
