Subwoofer Question

I am adding a subwoofer to my 2015 24S and does anyone know if the subwoofer is active when playing the radio either when driving or when camping? I have noticed when adjusting base at the Jensen for the radio it doesn't seem to have much base. I am trying to determine if I should go 12VDC or 120VAC I will be putting it in the entertainment center behind the TV due to easier installation.

subwoofer works with AM & FM in my 2014 25S

does not seem to work with music from iPad or iPhone

don't think it needs shore power, but don't remember for certain

look under rear-facing dinette seat to see if the cables have been installed, if not you will need to run your own

Thanks for the info I checked all around the dinette and the subwoofer is not in there and I checked under the slide out with it out and I can't find any wiring except for the 12VDC power for the lights in the slide out. I pulled the trim around the radio and the air conditioner controls and found the lead for the subwoofer and nothing was plugged into it. I guess since the sub works with the radio I will go with the 12VDC so it will work with the radio too. Thanks again for checking.

At one time they were wiring the sub power to the "power antenna" wire instead of the sub out. (both blue wires). So when radio is on, the sub will work. When the radio is NOT on, then the power antenna wire is not hot and thus no sub.

Thanks for the info I plan to mount the sub behind the TV in the entertainment center and the antenna power is there also.
After re-reading your reply I was thinking about the antenna booster and you were meaning the power antenna wire in the radio. How are they wired today? Does the sub work with the radio or only with movies from the DVD?
