Tire Warranty Info?

I just picked up my new Solera and I've been going through the mounds of paper work that came with it. So far I've managed to download pdf versions of the vast majority of the documentation - should take up less space!

Anyway, I don't seem to have any documentation / warranty registration info / etc. on the tires. They're Continental VancoFourSeason LT 215/85 R 16's, which I'm guessing is a pretty good tire, but the Continental web site indicates that I should have gotten some sort of registration info from the dealer.

Any thoughts?

I would think your chassis (MB) warranty has the info. for your tires.

From the Mercedes Warranty Manual:

C. Items Covered by Other Warranties
The following are covered by separate
warranties offered by their makers. They
are not covered by the Basic Limited
Warranty:
• tires; or
....

Tires as a general rule are covered under the seperate manufactures warranty. Your warranty would be through a recognized Continental tire dealer. If purchased new, bill of sale showing starting mileage is sufficient to establish a claim, if necessary.
