Have not needed one. I have towed a Chey Malibu and a Smart car. Have not had problems receiving a signal. The TPMS I have is the same unit as the Tire Minder (different name).

I wire tied mine to the frame underneath the vehicle.

Powered by wiring direct to the battery box.
