TV Cable

Anyone know how to check the connections for the tv cable? When we attach our cable from the source at any RV park to either connection on driver or passenger side, the reception is wretched. We bought a new cable, but no help. We do have great reception if we drag the cable through a window and connect directly to the tv. We have checked the connection in the cabinet above the door and it seems to be tight, so think it must be loose somewhere inside the walls but don't know how to get them. Thanks for any help on this one

Make sure that both power switches are turned to off. There is one on the side of signal meter dial and a push button next to the 12V plug in the cupboard, if it's on there will be a green light, if it is off then there will be no light.

We have no buttons for our antenna. It just cranks up and manually turns. No buttons or light in our cupboard.

Buttons are not where the antenna cranks up @.

The primary power button should still be in the same place inside the cabinet next to the 12v Plug.

Thanks. I went back and looked in the cupboard, this time with a flash light and found an on/off switch next to the 12 v plug. Didn't see any light, though... Another dumb question... where is the signal meter dial? BTW our rv is a 2014 Solera 24R.

If you have the crank up I don't think you'll have one. The push button inside the cabinet should cancel the signal.
