Weather Tech flooor mats

I have a 2015 Solera 24 R. I am in the process of buying mats for the cockpit area. It appears as though the carpeting should be removed and replaced with a nice custom molded mat. The carpet would hinder a nice installation.

In my 2014 24R the carpet in the cab is just a pull up. Should come out very easily. Under the carpet is a well padded rubber mat.
