I haven't been able to ignite the HWH since our first propane tanks were depleted. I'm getting gas to the range with no problem. I hear it trying to light 3 times and then it gives up.

Please help.

I had the same problem except mine had little or nothing to do with propane tanks. Found the control board had fried, probably due to its cheapness. I knew nothing about that stuff and paid dearly for someone to changeout the board. Open the exterior screen door, go inside and engage the wall switch. Go back out and see if you smell propane. If you do, that is one indicator of a bad board. That also tells me the fuel line is clear. Make sure there is no trash around the ignitor. To do that, remove the burner shield to give you visual access. The control board should be located behind the panel that is below bottom pantry door. I hope this info helps. And the board can be purchased from Amazon and other sellers for aroind $65.
