2018 RKs Vibe - Walk Thru

We bought our 2018 in January and now our walk thru is finally here. We are pumped.

Our delivery will be next week on 4-2. It's going to be a long month our official camping season doesn't start until 5-1. We are getting close though.

Old man winter needs to let go of this cold! Cold Spring. Need to start working on the boat as well. Boat season starts 4-15.

We are at Maple Grove Marina, Vermilion, OH

Some prior posts elsewhere suggest you film the PDI with your cell. Wish I had.

Our first choice

We are looking to buy a travel trailer in the next several weeks. The Vibe 268RKS has been at the top of our list. I am slightly put off with the 905 pound hitch weight for a 6500 pound empty trailer. What are you going to pull it with?

I have the 2028 RKS. First 2 outings I pulled with 09 Titan XE. No trouble pulling but never got above 65 and trips were short. Traded for new F250 XL gasser with heavy suspension. Will be leaving on 9th for 225 mile trip to Conway, AR. Should have no trouble with hills.

I think you will like the RKS. We looked at several but chose 268rks because of wide open space. 1 thing I don't like is lack of storage in bedroom. Also did not like the stock faucet in kitchen. I did find it easy to pull with the titan.

We just go a 288RLS, it weighs just a little more and have been pulling through Western Pa mountains with an F150 and it’s done fine even up and down some pretty big steep hills without any problems. No engine or tranny overheating.
