Smile 2018 Vibe 258RKS Question

I bought a 2018 Vibe 258RKS a couple of weeks ago and hoping someone can help me determine what the switch to the left of the Controller Panel may be. I cannot find it in the documentation anywhere. It looks like a light switch, but it does not turn anything on/off that I can find. It's driving me crazy trying to figure it out.

Thanks,
Marla

Sounds like another poor PDI by the dealer.

A pic might help.

Lots of folks with tank heaters have the switch unmarked for some odd reason.

Do you have tank heaters?

Yes, we have Ultraheat heaters for the tanks. Is this the "on/off" switch for it?

Thanks,
Marla

I can't tell you for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised. If you can access the bottom of the tanks and it's cold outside, you can test it.

First, you need some liquid in the tanks. Then you need it cold outside. Flip the switch to ON. When the liquid is below 44 deg F, the pads will turn on; when the liquid gets above 64 deg F they will turn off. So if you're below 44 deg F, you should be able to flip the switch and feel if the pads are getting warm.

On some rigs, the switch lights up when it's in the ON position.

Maybe someone with your unit will comment.

Don't have your particular Vibe but in my 250BHS I have one switch like that by my TV that turns on outside speaker lights and another one close to the entry door that turns on the light under my entry steps.

If you have bluetooth external speakers that should be the switch to turn them on and off. My Vibe is same way.

Our 2017 268 RKS has the switch on the side of the cabinet above the TV. It is indeed for the outside speaker lights. Fancy stuff.
