268RKS installed a kitchen skylight

Love My Vibe with the rear kitchen, but always found it to be a little darker back in the kitchen area due to not having any windows at the rear. Trailer is now 3 years old and out of warranty, so decided to install a skylight. Use the standard 14 x 22 in Skylight that is sold everywhere, and verified with Forest River that my trailer uses 16 inch on center studs. That means that I had to mount the skylight side to side as the roof trusses are only 14 and a half inch apart. Took about 2 hours of measuring to be 100% sure and only maybe an hour and a half to actually do the full install. I used butyl tape under the outside dome, stainless steel screws, lap sealant on the screw heads then used 4" eternabond tape. Finally, finished up with more Dicor lap sealant on all seams. Love it!

Nice job looks great, you may want to cut yourself a foam insert for those days when its really hot outside and you don't need the light you can put the foam in the skylight to stop the heat transfer just some to consider.
