268RKS tongue weight?

Has anyone ever weighed the tongue weight on a 268RKS? The spec sheet says 900 lbs but Iím guessing it might be even higher. Has anyone else noticed how far back the axles are located from the hitch? I think thatís why the tongue weight is high.

What the factory thinks it is or what it is on the dealer's lot ("spec sheet is immaterial. What does your trailer weigh?

Safe towing requires 10% to 15% of total trailer weight be on the ball. I've personally found it works best toward the 15% end of the scale.

A 9600 pound trailer needs more weight on the ball than the catalog spec 850 pounds which is fine when new and empty.
