28rl ladder

I have recently found out that it is possible to add a ladder to a Vibe 28rl even though Forest River says that you cannot.
I am curious if anyone has done this and if you did it yourself. If so, where did you get your ladder from?

RZ Back: where did you hear this from? I’m curious, especially with the large rear window. I’d love to add a ladder but didn’t think it possible.

It was in the Vibe 28rl group on Facebook.

Ok I found that post, complete with the FR technical build drawings for the rear wall. Looks like it may be possible but after looking at my RL, it would be a shame to have ladder outside that big back window…. I’ll continue to use the collapsible ladder I guess!

Rather than drill holes, I bought a very handy 12 collapsable ladder. I toss it in the back of my truck when we go camping. Very versatile and handy.

That is certainly doable. I wonder what the weight limit is on those ladders.

I have one and it's rated to 150kg (330lbs). But they will obviously vary depending on manufacturer and 'locking' mechanism. I use it at home instead of my heavy extension ladder to clean gutters, etc.; these things are awesome.

OxGord Aluminum Telescopic 12.5 FT Heavy Duty Extendable Work Ladder Light Weight Multi-Purpose - 250 LB Capacity
UPC 840345108845

UPC 840345108845
EAN 0840345108845
ASIN B01JY9QAPQ
Country U.S. and Canada
Model LDAL-TS02-12

These numbers all match the sticker on my ladder (can't find a name anywhere on it). However, mine also has a sticker indicating max of 150kg whereas this indicates 250lb max. Not sure why.

Here's one that looks similar to mine, except this has the manual slide latches vs mine which 'should' automatically lock into place when extended. They don't always, so the slide latches would be nice. This also has the 150kg max weight sticker like mine.
Oh, and it's $90
