A/c Fan always on

The A/C fan runs continuously, regardless of mode. The only way to stop the fan is to have all off. The fan runs even when the furnace is on? Any ideas?

You have to set the fan to "Auto" on the thermostat:

Yes, this question is asked 2-5 times per week here. If your thermostat is like most, you should click through all modes (Off, Cool, Heat, FAN) and stop on FAN. Use the + key or the - key to cycle from LO, HI and stop on AU for Auto. Then the A/C fan will not run when the furnace does.

To add to what has already been said, this is not a problem but rather a feature.

The manufacturer allows you to run the A/C fan with the furnace to help distribute the heat better. (heat rises)

These features are spelled out in the thermostat manual.
if you don't have one, they can be found online or in the library section here on the forum.
