Battery Replacement HELP

I have a 2017 Forest River Vibe 268RKS, my batteries were recently stolen out of my RV. The dealership advised me that they installed Deka DP24 (qty 2) in my unit. I was not pleased with their performance. Can anyone recommend the best Deep Cycle battery? My insurance is covering the cost.

That sucks. I'm sorry to hear that.

12v deep cycle batteries aren't REALLY deep cycle. They have thicker plates, but not as thick as some that classify them as deep cycle.

ANYWHO. If I was going to replace my batteries tomorrow, I'd buy a pair of 6-volt T-105 golf cart batteries and wire them in series. Those things are bombproof, and last forever.

Others have a lot of opinions I'm sure. You could go lithium... if you wanted to spend $1,000 or AGM, or a myriad of other options. My choice is on the T-105s.

No, only need 2. 6v x 2 wired in series = 12v. Two 6v batteries like these will perform better than two 12v batteries wired in parallel.

Nope.

Just two, wired in series creates 12v.
