Dump Valve Vibe 243bhs

In order for me to dump my rear grey tank I have to open the black tank valve. on every other trailer I see if you want to dump the black you open the black and dump close it and open the grey and dump. Just wondering if anyones Vibe is plumbed that way or is mine a mistake from factory.

Hopefully other owners will chime in, but it sounds like a mistake to me. However, since you say it's the rear grey tank (so you can still flush with the front gray tank) that may be why they did it that way.

In any case - be careful. If your black tank is fuller than that rear gray tank, and if you inadvertently open the gray valve, you'll be putting black tank water in the rear grey tank. Not good.

I vote mistake also. The gray rear tank is completely separate in our 268 vibe. The front gray drain is the one we use to flush out the black drain tubing.

OP: It should work the same as your old trailer. Sounds like a mistake as others have said.
