Furrion range spark

Have a 3 burner stove , back two spark to light. Front one sparks every 3rd or 4th try. Cleaned the ignitor, it isn't bent, propane is fine. Before I order a part would like to know if I am missing something.

It could be that the spark gap is just a bit too wide and the spark doesn't jump every time. Take a long-nose pliers and carefully bend the electrode to close the gap just a little bit. The longer the spark, the more it is exposed to the flame.

Don't hold the electrode you are bending near the porcelain insulator. It is easy to crack those.

I get no spark at all, than after a few tries it sparks. The gap looks the same as the back burners.

Swap wires?

Willie, does your range have one spark unit with wires to all the burners, or a separate sparker for each burner? Are you able to swap the wires between the front burner and one of the back ones?

If the symptom moves, it's the spark circuitry. If it stays, it's the electrode.

I will check it out by switching wires if possible.
