Heater

Had my last camping trip 2 weeks ago, and now it is time to put the vibe up for the winter.

While camping, it got to a point in which I needed to kick on the heater. I realized that the living room area was not really getting warm, but the bedroom was on fire. You can feel the warmth coming out of the vents in the living room, however it's not blowing out like it does in the bathroom/bedroom.

Has anyone else had this same issue?

You need to check the furnace ducting.

There have been many posts about crushed or misrouted ducting. Even some with the ducting disconnected. Not at all uncommon.

With that said, shorter duct runs will blow more air while longer runs suffer from resistance within the ducts.

Many put an adjustable register on shorter runs to maximize airflow to the longer runs. Just be sure you don't choke off too much flow that the furnace overheats.

I found so many 90's in one duct run it was forcing my furnace to overheat.

Removed the cheesy duct and replaced it with less duct in a shorter run. Even heat now and no furnace issues.
