Help... our refrigerator isn't working!

We have a 2017 Vibe 308BHS TT. We've been out camping 4 times and the refrigerator has worked perfectly. This trip is the first since picking up our TT from the dealer to fix a tick list of items wrong when we took delivery. We went through all the troubleshooting items and no luck. We did find another panel of fuses behind the back panel of the kitchen drawers. It's hardly accessible through the cabinet for the under the counter trash can.

Does anyone know if this is the panel where the refrigerator fuse is? If so, how the heck do you get to it? What amp fuse does the refrigerator take?

Thanks for any help. Otherwise we're going to buy ice ;-(

More information would help- Many of us don't know what a 2017 Vibe is because we have
other brands or models.
What is the brand and model # of your fridge??
Do you have any lights working inside the fridge and or indicator lights on the top
front showing a
check light
or an auto light?
Are you trying to run it on LP gas or Electric?
IF on electric are you plugged into a power post or home outlet?

Fill in some blanks we might be able to help....

Sure. We are running on electric. The refrigerator has an inverter the allows it to run on electric or battery. No LP option. It switches automatically. If you're on electric it runs on electric. The electric is working as the fan, AC outlets microwave all work. We are plugged into our campsite post 50amp Service. t's a residential refrigerator. Don't know the model but will try to find it. And no lights inside the refrigerator or freezer are on.

You say it's a residential model so it only runs on 120v AC which is
the same as home current.
Since you are plugged into a camp ground power post and your microwave
and other 120v devices are working
we need to figure out why the fridge isn't working.

You aren't looking for a fuse.
Fuses are typically for 12v DC devices.
You are looking for either a circuit breaker that is off or
a ground fault outlet that needs to be re-set.

Can you access the plug that the fridge is plugged into?

Check the inverter, power most likely is routed through the inverter with an automatic switch for shore power. Also check circuit breakers. AC power usually is not fussed. The circuit breaker should be in the main distribution panel that is easily accessible. Mine is under the stove and the box behind the drawers is the control board for the remote controls. Most likely you will find something switched off or unplugged.

All the circuits are good. But to we sure we reset each.

Where's the inverter. What's it look like?

I don't have an inverter so I don't know where it might be but it will be a box with heavy black and red or black and white wires from the battery and either a built in outlet that the refrigerator is plugged into directly or it will have a 12 or 14 gauge wire going to the refrigerator. Temporarily you can plug the refrigerator directly into any AC source. Do the other ac outlets work? There may be a fuse or disconnect in the battery compartment for the inverter.

Your best workaround right now might be to plug the fridge into another
outlet that is working.

Yes. All the other outlets work. I'll try plugging it into another outlet if it can reach.

Thanks to those who replied. Unfortunately we cannot see/find/access the power cord or plug. So we bought ice to put in the refrigerator drawer on the bottom for water containment. And we're using the outside kitchen refrigerator. Small but works! And we called the dealer!!!

I am going to ask some very basic questions. I hope these questions do not offend you!
Is the refrigerator turned on? There is a control box as you open the door for the refrigerator underneath the top shelf. Hold that button in till the light turns on in the fridge. The dealer may have turned the fridge off.

The Power cord is behind the refrigerator you'll have to pull the refrigerator out to access the cord. There is a board that is screwed into the floor to prevent the refrigerator from moving this needs to be removed. Then the refrigerator can be pulled out from the wall.
The inverter is only used when you are using your battery not when you are connected too shore power. The inverter is usually 4 to 5 feet from the battery and has a power switch that you push in to turn the inverter on. The display will than show how many volts are being produced. You will also here a fan run to cool the inverter. The inverter only runs the fridge in must units and nothing else.

Not offended at all. I didn't say so then you wouldn't know.

The refrigerator and the freeze control switches do not push in. They only turn The refrigerator turns off- on - temp. It's on and midway on the temp. Freezer only has temp. No off/on. It's also halfway on temp range.

And neither light is on inside.

I see where to pull out the unit by unscrewing the brackets. But I shouldn't have to do all this for a unit <6 mos old. It's going to service Sunday night.

If you cannot access the refrigerator power cord, are you even sure it is plugged into a receptacle at all?

Call your dealer! You might not want your new rig sitting in service for 2 months waiting for them to get to it.
If they promise to get to you in a couple of days that's different.

As new RV owners we'd just like to suggest the more you learn about your
unit and the more you can do for yourself- The less time and money
you'll spend at the dealer!!

Good Luck!

The inverter on my Vibe is located in my front storage compartment (under my bed). Make sure it is 'on' by depressing the grey button. Next check the electrical panel (below your tv) and make certain all of the circuit breakers (black switches) are 'on'
