Installing tv

2020 vibe 24x. Can you install tv mount on bedroom exterior wall. Backing plate seems to be on interior wall to kitchen but would like to mount above window on exterior wall. Don’t want to damage exterior fiberglass
Thanks

I have a different model Vibe. I would not mount a TV on an exterior wall. Look at thickness (or lack thereof) at a window. That is all that will support both the bracket and the TV. Add to that the stress on the wall from vibration while traveling. Just my .02.

I'd put it on that wall that has tv connections. You can get a swivel mount so that you can angle it.
That wall is backed up by a cabinet which should add to the stability. Outside walls are not advised because you don't know what's in the wall and they are pretty flimsy.

Tv

We got mount installed on outside wall above and to left of side window. Used 1 1/4 metal screws into aluminum wall stud. Had to redrill bottom bolt hole as I guess I hit side of stud vs middle. Seems pretty solid. We won’t leave tv on bracket while traveling but only put up when in camp. Bracket has locking tab and only have to install 1 screw to hold in place. Was worried about drilling thru to outside fiberglass but taped drill bit to 1” to be safe. Will add pics next time we go to storage lot. Thanks for the reply’s.

Tv mount

Photos of mount and tv installed. Mount is from Walmart. Works great. We lay tv on bed when traveling and no problems.
