Interior speaker replacement?

My Vibe 308bhs has the little wedge shaped satellite speakers hanging from the ceiling and they sound terrible. Has anyone tried replacing these with better car speakers, while keeping the original DVD stereo unit that came with the camper? If so, were you satisfied with the results?

In some units the ceiling insulation is plain white styrofoam, and sometimes the little balls separate from the pack and end up in the speaker enclosures. If you think that could be a problem in your case, try removing the speakers and cleaning the enclosures up.

The insulation in my roof is a soft batting insulation. Also, the speakers are totally enclosed satellite speakers. They are small and cheap and sound terrible.

Speaker bar

I agree those are the worst speakers ever! I added a Yamaha sound bar which mounted perfectly under the cabinet above the TV. 100% improvement, it's blue tooth so I can play music from my phone and the TV sounds great! Now I'm a happy camper!
Got this one:

I replaced the satellite speakers with Kenwood 6.5" car speakers. Already, I can tell a noticeable improvement. The stock radio though is seriously underpowered, but it may be good enough. I'll know for sure after a couple of camping trips.
