New (and not happy) Vibe 2604 owner

Howdy all, new to forum and wanted to intro. Traded our mint 69 Shasta Starflyte for a 2013 Vibe back in June out of necessity (long story, BIG mistake) and joined forum to kinda see if I'm the only one who thinks the Vibe is the scourge of mankind.
Thanks!
Ray

I have had 3 RV's, two used and one new. Even the new ones need a "tune up" to get them so that YOU like them. Give the new to you unit some time, repair what needs to be repaired, alter things so they are to your liking. I bet you will learn to love the unit. If not, move on and get something else.

Generally, most Vibe owners are happy with theirs.

We have a 2016 Vibe 272 BHS. We have used it extensively since we got it, took it to the mountains in New Mexico, State Parks in Texas including the coastal campgrounds. Bought it new, had a few issues with it but really nothing major. Fixed or replaced everything myself as I didn't want to take it back to the dealer. All issues were relatively easy to fix and not very expensive. It has served us well, wife and grandkids love it.

Welcome to the forum.

Take your "shake down" camping trip, then post concerns that we may be able to help you with.

I use a pocket digital recorder to note "concerns" when I see them out & about the campground and have a notebook to record these items to be addressed when needed.

Very few problems can ruin your trip so just work on making it a little bit better as you go.

Happy Camping

The OP bought his Vibe used back in June. So I'm sure that he's already past a shakedown trip.

New (and not happy) Vibe 2604 owner

We have a 2017 288RLS and love it. Got it in April and did several long weekends a one week and a two. Week trip this summer. The only real problem we had was a shorted wire from rubbing, let the dealer fix that to be sure it didnít cause any other issues. and didnít even have to unhitch the TT. The way they do model years it was possibly bought new in 2012, so youíre looking at 5-6 years of use with no knowledge of how previous owner maintained it. Interested what the exact issues are.

Looks like another one hit wonder. Makes a very broad statement without explanation and doesn't return.

I saw a post on here once that a guy wanted to return his TT because the blinds wouldnít stay up and the dining under seat doors didnít stay closed while towing and he had to empty his shower gray tank every other day. If thatís what you have to complain about, you have nothing to complain about.
