Pass Through Storage Floor?

Does the floor have any type of non-slip coating on it? Due to ice/snow the past two weeks I have not brought my new Vibe home yet, so I can't check. I was planning on putting totes inside this compartment, but they may slide.

Not normally. If you're concerned about your totes slipping buy a few rolls of that anti slip pad cabinet liner.

I put a piece of indoor/outdoor carpeting in the storage area. Stuff doesn't shift around on it and it keeps the floor from being damaged by anything.

I don't have your make/model... but... for reference... SOME Forest River makes/models DO come with a rubber flooring in the front pass through storage area.

My 2022 Cedar Creek 345IK has something that looks like black rubber diamond plate on that flooring area and looking in other FR products at the recent Tampa R/V show, I seen that same material in other makes/models as well. I do not know about yours though.

So what if the totes slide? You're gonna want them to slide to access them. If the sliding gets too violent wedge them in place. Kitchen cabinet liners are prone to ball up.

One of those rubber-like anti-slip bathtub mats with the suction cups on the bottom would be better.

X2 the carpet provides some resistance to sliding but still allows me to slide things around to get to what I need.

I will finally be able to pick up the trailer next week from the dealer. It has been snowing or ice/snowing for the past two weeks.

At that time I plan on measuring this compartment to check on some indoor/outdoor carpeting.

Love this idea putting some in my new Tracer this weekend.

Thanks!

I am assuming that the pass thru is in the front. If that is the case, that is the smoothest riding spot on the whole camper. Nothing is going to move IMHO
