Receiver hitch

Wanna add a hitch to the back of my 313bh. How do you mount it with the stabilizer jacks there and the rear cross brace?

Just a question, but what's the hitch for?

If it's for a bike rack or BBQ, you could get one to clamp around the bumper.

If it's for double towing, I would guess that it needs to be tied into the actual frame of the trailer. You would likely have to take the membrane off the underbelly and have it welded to the frame for proper frame support.

Please provide more detailed information for a more detailed response.

I might just weld the bumper to the frame and add gusetts and just go with hitch receiver that bolts to bumper.

Watch out for your trailer's GVWR. Those frame hitch's are heavy and then add the hitch head and tongue weight of what you tow. Might not leave all that much trailer capacity remaining.

Regular trailer frame inspections as well. On most of these light weight trailers, the strap iron welded/formed frames are barely adequate for the trailer's rated GVWR. Adding non-factory items can stress the camper frame beyond its elastic limit resulting in frame cracks and weld failures.

Beefing up the bumper's frame to bumper connections just transfer's the load torque from the rear bumper welds to the aft axle rear attachment points.

Not saying you won't get away with it in your case, just know what "could" happen.

And not bad just for your rig and trailer but REALLY bad for the oncoming traffic that meets it head on!
