Schwintech controller Vibe Vcross

Hello
We have a 2014 Vibe Vcross 6504. I am looking for the schwintech/lippert controller. I believe it is under the step to the queen bed but I can not figure out remove the step to access it. Anyone figure this out?

Ty

On our 2013 Vibe V-Cross the slide controller is behind a stack of drawers in the kitchen next to the power panel. Ours is bigger than yours, but maybe an idea where to look.

Hello, i just had to remove the step and cover to access the water heater. it was a PITA. I have previously made the step removable and made the area below it a storage compartment. I believe there were just a couple of screws around the edge of the step. After that, there were 5 screws, 2 at the base of the step's frame attaching it to the floor and the center support and 3 along the bed frame. the bed frame screws were difficult to find as mine were buried in the carpetting. The biggest hurdle to get the cover and step out was the electrical wires passing through the step. I cut off the wood to allow the wires to slide out of their holes. I didnt check to see if the controller was in there as i was busy working on my clogged water heater inlet.

The step is exactly where mine was buried! As has been stated the controller is most likely hidden there. After having all sorts of trouble I had mine relocated to the bathroom wall in behind the drawer that slides out under the seating. Those carpeted steps will hide several screws depending on how the tech felt who was assembling that day! Mine had I think four, but they were in each corner buried in the carpet. Good luck locating!
