Soft Spots

I have a 2017 Forest River Vibe 323QBS. I’m developing a soft stop in the middle of the trailer right next to the kitchen. I have checked for leaks and I haven’t found anything. Has this happened to anyone else.?

Does your trailer have composite flooring, layer of luan, layer of foam, another layer of luan glued and compressed together, or plywood floors?

Is the weak spot around or close to a floor vent, usually the first place that shows up, the Styrofoam is thinner and cut out in the floor weakens the floor, mine started there, but with continued use my floors have several weak spots, there is no water intrusion, the Styrofoam compresses with use and allows the floors to weaken. My trailer is a 2007 and we live in it full time.

This is not uncommon with composite flooring.

Yes there is a heater vent near by. Is there anyway to slide a plywood under it on the bottom side.

Not sure how much reinforcement you could do underneath, welding cross braces would probably be best but could be pretty expensive, l don't own a Vibe, mine is a Flagstaff, l am going to overlay my floors with a laminate floating floor, l tried a couple of pieces of laminate locked together for trial and it helped the weak spots, just have to make sure my slide outs don't hit. Also will have to adjust a couple of drawers. Bedroom and bathroom floors are OK, just the main living area.
