Steps into trailer

We have a 2014 VCross, was wondering if the steps can be adjusted. They are staging to left as you go in, not bad at his time just irritating.

Not sure if they can be adjusted but the left bolt that holds the steps up broke. Wife was lucky she didn't hurt herself when it broke. Check the bolts, maybe one is going.

I have
Braced step frame to trailer frame to square up and stabalize.
Closed end of slot thatsteps use to fold up, bottom 2 steps tilted down was easy to slip off. People fell, bad permanent scar.
Replaced rivits with shoulder bolts, tighter fit, rivits broke, people fell.
Welded bottom step stop to level bottom step.
More ryde flip up steps look like a better fix.
