Temperature setting on the fridge

Well in my new 224 vibe
I was told the setting is by moving the plastic piece on the back fins of the fridge up and down
It’s just a plastic piece ??????
There is a white probe on the bottom of the fridge
It that the sensor????

The probe is the sensor called a thermistor. The plastic thing is the holder. They must be together and attached to the fins. Mine is about 3/4 down from the top of the fins. It is mounted on the right side.

Sensor should clip into the plastic slide.

Up for colder - mine jiggled down on a rough washboard road in Alaska and warmed up.

Articca adjustable thermostat. look on you tube for this thermistor I really like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dometic-The...wAAMXQueRRYoEB this may help. I like my temperature to be at 32/33 the fin model would go to 38 deg. replaced it with the articca and I am at 32. Had a post on 6-21-2013 on this subject with great pictures.

I actually put a small squeeze clamp on my plastic clip and it holds it in place even during long trips and bumpy roads. Never have to worry about the clip sliding/moving and the refrig warming up!
