V Cross Fifth Wheel

Im currently looking at a V Cross fifth wheel bunkhouse but cant find any information, complaiants or reviews on this type of rv. Im mainly concern with construction, longevity or common problems from owners. We love the layout and the king bed offered in the master bedroom along with the bunkhouse for the kids. Forest River gets a bad reputation but I wold love to hear from owners if there any out there.

Sorry I can't help with bunk house, that must be a V-Cross 365VTSB? I have a V-Cross 275 VRL that we got new in February 2012 and we are happy with it. We have had no problems with it, none so far. Hopefully some one who owns one will post here soon. Good Luck.

Angry V Cross fifth wheel

Thanks for your information I guess we will go with something that we can get a little more information on to make us feel more comfortable. I cant believe no one has feedback on this rv.

I have looked at a number of v cross units. I'm in the same boat as you, I can't get any reviews or feedback. Plus I don't see any around in the campgrounds to ask about. I think the v nose will limit your resale as well. I like them really well though.

I cant speak for a fifth wheel but we love our bumper pull. It works well for us, pulls well and the front kitchen was what sold us.

regards

Hi Jim- can you please tell me what you use for a tv as I am trying to narrow down my pick list and would like to avoid a 350 if possible. I was thinking of an F-250 gasser....

We have a 96 F350 crew cab. It works well for us. I got it as part of the deal on the trailer. Be sure that whatever you pick has enough towing capacity for your rig.

Good advice, Forest River states that you can tow a V-Cross 275 with a 1/2 ton pickup. I have a 2012 V-Cross 275 and I would not think of pulling it with a half ton.
I have a 2011 F250, diesel, CC, longbed, RWD and it does the job.

I have a 365 vtsb and love it I've had it for 18mths with no problems only thing I've had to get deal with is making sure the campground I go to has a spot for me because of the length 40'4"

X2. far as I can tell the VCross's are fine units, especially for the price point.

You will not do any better with other units from other MFG. There are no really high quality units or MFG making smaller RV's and not even the big ones are that much better. They pretty much have all the same components, frames etc, with few exceptions.

My 2013 275 VRL is very good and I have not had it back to the dealer yet.

It is nice to hear that others have had a good experience with the V-Cross. I could not agree more for the money it was the best that we could do. There are better fivers but the cost a a great deal more. Good Luck

We have had our VCross 30vbhs for 3 years...LOVE IT! Never been in the shop! Tow with Dodge 3500 diesel. Husband always says he sometimes doesn't k ow its back there...until we park it. Kinda long. Great slides, great layout for fam of 5. Awesome awning! Wonderful storage. Fantastic fixtures. Just great. BUT we really need a toy hauler for water toys so we are awaiting our 2014 XLR Viper 305v12 5th Wheel!! Confirmed with the factory we do not need a slider hitch with a 6ft truck bed. NICE! Oh, it's a V front so that is why.
