Vibe 2018 313bhs battery disconnect install DIY

Anyone done one yet? I've looked st the Batt wires and they'd seem to split to different parts of trailer. Question is can one dual switch work or will I need a disconnect on each line separate? Click image for larger version

Move everything from the battery to the switch and then add a new cable between the switch and the battery.

I get that I re-did my whole boat batteries and moved them, sorry I should asked the question better, my fault! But the question is do these two batteries feed different items in the trailer? One to the converter, one to another destination? Or is just in parallel feeding the fuse panel? To much spray foam and covering to follow.

In parallel feeding the fuse panel.

Some people will put in a battery selector switch so that they can use 1 battery first and then the other.

I have same trailer. I bought 2... 4 post bussbar to attach everything to. Wire batteries in parallel then wire to battery disconnect then to busbar. This way all of my connection are not at the battery and makes it easier to remove battery. First 2 pics are the mess, when it gets warmer out im redoing everything.Click image for larger version

Be sure your trailer doesn't have 2 six volt batteries in series.

According to the sticker on the side of my trailer, the converter needs both batteries wired in parallel to run. So I'll just put a single bank shutoff.

Running in parallel just increases the ah of your battery bank. It keeps the voltage the same, in this case 12v. So if you have 2 100ah 12v batteries, you have 12v at 200ah (amp hours). Cut the ah in half for wet batteries so realistically you would have 100ah useable.

I KNOW this is incredibly basic but Ive seen it done wrong.

DO NOT switch the Ground

The switch goes on the + (Red) as the only wire coming off of the battery pack. Everything else connects to the ON lug of the switch

Nothings mounted just slapped it together for the winter. Next month gonna build the platform for the batteries to sit on and get rid of the battery boxes. Then rewire everything the right way. Installed the ems today behind the breaker panel. What a **** show of a mess. Plus found 12v fuses bolted to the inside wall never knew they were there.

What 12 volt fuses bolted inside the wall! Do you know what the bolted fuses supply?

I didnt dive into what they went too. Wasnt labeled but it def is a 12v fuse panel. If you remove the electrical panel and look to the right (outside wall) you will see a 12v fuse panel.
