What are you pulling your 28RL with?

Looking at a future purchase of a Vibe 28RL and am curious what you are pulling yours with.

I currently have a Cherokee Grey Wolf 27RR which is sometimes maxed out at about 8,500 LBS. I have had no issues pulling it with our 2017 F150 3.5 EB with max tow all over the eastern U.S. from FL to NY.

The Vibe would be about 1,000 LBS. more if maxed and a foot longer, but would most definitely not be getting loaded with all that goes into our toy hauler, so may end up at about the same weight.

We have a 2019 Hemisphere 272RL, very similar to the Vibe27RL. I have towed this TT with a Dodge 3/4 ton, Chevy 3/4 ton, and a F250. The Dodge and Ford both 4 doors. The F250 is the most stable towing platform of all three. The other two do a fine job, but the F250 is just much better. As for HP and gas consumption, all 3 are very close to the same. Another big difference with the F250, the transmission temp does not move! The Dodge and Chevy both get warmer when pulling a hill. Water temp on the F250 does not move either. The Chevy and Dodge get a touch warmer when pulling a hill. Just my thoughts if you decide the 1/2 ton needs to be upgraded.

One more thing, our 272 weighs 9820lbs all ready to camp. That includes water tank full. That is 175lbs over the gross for the TT, so you will use up the cargo weight quicker than you might think.

I made an error with my math when I was doing the math to see what we weigh. Forgot to subtract firewood and people in the truck. We weigh about a 1000lbs lighter than what I posted above. Still, easy to get to weight max.

Ram 2500 Diesel. Love it. Best part about it is the Exhaust Brakes. In tow mode, I can tow downhill, steep grade, windy road and never hit the brakes. Plus, gas mileage is very decent, upwards of 14-15 mpg if on flat terrain.
