Wiring short after adding Solera Slide Topper to 21 Vibe 25RK

We are new to the group. New to the RV life. Bought a 2021 Vibe 25RK. Everything was working great. I put the Solera Slide topper on with help. After doing so, the slide will not extend. Could a screw from attaching the wall plate gone into the slide out wiring?
Help!

Find your power panel and open the door. Usually, a blown fuse will cause an indicator light to illuminate. If you find one lit, then you probably sent a screw through the wires. Another thing that could happen is incorrect installation of the topper. It could be holding the slide back. Do you hear clicking? Can you hear the motor try to extend the slide?

We do not hear it trying to extend. We hear a click and it sounded as if it were coming from the grounding wire on circuit breaker. Replaced the 30 amp breaker near tongue of trailer. Checked all fuses and breakers inside the RV. I will remove the slide topper wall rail and see if the slide out extends.
Thanks

Your model Vibe appears to have a Lippert Through Frame Slide. The slide motor wiring is underneath inside the frame and not in the overhead. Additionally, the slide 12V lighting for the dinette and sofa is routed underneath up through the slide room via a flexible umbilical cord.

Are you saying that after the topper installation the slide didn't work? No response from the slide when you attempt to move the slide out? As previously stated, I would be checking the fuse first. A picture of your topper installation would be helpful.

There should not be any "grounding" on the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker is on the load side (+) of the 12V circuit.

Dont take the rails off completely. Remove 1 screw at a time if that's what your gonna try.

Thank you all for the advice. Yesterday removed one screw at a time from the slide topper rail. It was one screw that was touching a wire. The screw was black on the end. Cut off the end of the screw to shorten it. Slide works perfectly! Thanks again for the advice!

Thanks for letting us know what you found.

I'd be tempted to squirt a good bit of caulking in the hole to help insulate the wire where the screw punctured the insulation.
