It would be dependent on brand of generator. Get 3500w and you should be fine. With twin Honda 2200 paralleled, soft starts on both a/cs I can run both, but it’s maxed out.

In my experience, I’ve been able to run my AC with low-draw electrical items from my single generator. I have a 12v refrigerator inside and a 110 in my outdoor kitchen. The latter has worked while AC is in use. However, you won’t be able to run the likes of a microwave concurrently; with or without an Easy Start.

Update on this topic. This morning I installed the Micro-Air easy start. The directions were very clear and the pictures made it easy to identify which model of AC I had.

Once installed I ran it through the learning process and then tried it with the 2000 watt WEN generator. It worked like a champ. Very pleased with the outcome and I would highly recommend this product. Looking forward to this summer!
