Brakes

There are 2 green wires going into the brake drums on my Rpod 189.On the drivers side brake drum both wires are connected. On the passenger side only 1 of the green wires are connected. It looks like the other green wire was never connected?
I am concerned and I wonder if this is correct.

You should figure out where it needs to be attached.
Does your trailer pull to one side when you brake?

Are the wires on the street (drivers) side hooked to different wires?

One wire should connect to positive and one to negative. It doesn't matter which wire from the magnet hooks to which pole, but they both have to be hooked up.

Sometimes they use the frame as negative (ground). Look at the drivers side and see how it's hooked up and see if the same wires are available on the passenger side. If there is just one wire on that side the other wire may be routed through the axle and it may have slipped into the axle.

Both wires coming out of the brake backing plate need to be connected for the brakes to work.

+1 to both wires need to be hooked up. Common these wires pull apart. Brake will not work on side with wire disconnected.

Once you get it reconnected look at how wiring is secured. Mine was with some really sub standard tie wraps, I replaced with heavy duty tie wraps.
