Front exterior light connected to front interior lights

I figured out this week that the front exterior light is on the same circuit as the front interior lights. When the interior lights are off the exterior light will not come on. When the front interior lights are on the front exterior light comes on when I flip the switch.

I have a 2017 RPod 178.

It is a wiring error. If the switches are next to each other, they spliced the hot side of the exterior light to the switched side of the interior light. The hot side of the exterior light switch should have been spliced into the hot side of the interior light switch. It should be a very simple fix.
