R-Pod 180 Furnace Question

Took our new 180 out for the first time over the weekend and had a great time, everything seems to work pretty well.
While testing out the propane furnace using the wall mounted control, set unit to 'Furnace' at 76 degree temp, furnace comes on, but so does the ceiling mounted air-con blower unit. I can turn on the air-con separately and it blows cold air fine, but why would the air-con unit turn on and blow when the furnace is set to on? Is this by design to help circulate the warm air or am I seeing something different than what should happen?

Yes, it is by design (in some systems, not all have it) to help circulate the warm air as it rises.

If you don't want that option, set the fan mode to auto in the digital thermostat.
