Used or new R Pod

Hi - I'm new to this forum. I just sold my 33 foot TT today - downsizing! I'm looking at the R Pod 176 T. I have found a reasonably priced 2010 and wondering if anyone on the forum knows what features the 2010 would not have that the new (e.g., 2015 or 2015) models have. I would love to get a new one but money is any issue, Thanks!

One big thing is led lights. I don't think 2010 had led but you can retrofit I am sure. Obviously colors changed. Does it come with an r-dome and is that something you want? Pretty expensive to buy later separately.

I think most things are minor. Magnetic door latches, friction door...might check on black water flush. Digital thermostat. Zamp solar connection.

If you are looking at the tent model I think there might have been a bed revision...worth researching.

We have a 2014 r-pod 177. In the newest models, the fresh water tank is in front of the wheels which makes towing smoother if you carry water in your tank. The gray and black water openings are much easier to reach in the newest models which makes dumping a breeze.

There is a larger swing arm TV as well as the 7" one above the bed.

We have an r-dome and love it. We use it if we're staying more than one night. It seems to double our space.

A 2010 would be nearly identical to Pods today. This you will not see on it that are on them no.

Outside Speakers
Diamond Plate on the front
An outside light on the front near the hitch area
Outdoor shower
A 2010 will need the recall work done for the spoiler bar and the fender lights if it has not already been done.
A 2010 if it doesn't come with the Rdome will almost assuredly have the small keder track and if you want and R-Dome you'll have to replace that track with the new larger track for the current R-Domes to fit.
A 2010 will have the older closet bar in the bathroom instead of the fold down clothes hanger that comes in models now.
Depending on the production date of your 2010 it might have 2 different controls for the AC either the analog separate t-stat or possibly and integrated one in the AC unit itself, whereas the ones today will have a standalone digitl t-stat.
Your 2010 will have metal blinds, the newer ones will have the pleated night shades.
Again depending on your production date your fridge may or may not have auxilliary fans in the back to pull off heat.
Your 2010 could also be susceptible to a recall on the door lock as well.

You won't have the black tank flush, which isn't that important anyways, LED bulbs can be replaced through the whole camper for very cheap online. The friction hinges are cool but some owners actually do not like them.

A 2010 you'll have the coolest graphic package ever, which is the Rings, but by now they will likely need replacing.

As far as the water tanks, they are in different place on each and every model, depending on the floorplan so that's not an issue.
