Since you have been to both (Drummer Boy & Art.Ridge) do you have a preference? The boys sure look happy. Do you ride the horses? Youroo!!

Man that does look like fun. We just went on our first for the season, to Rocky Fork state park, it was a blast. Not planned at all. Just got home from work in the morning after working midnight. Looked over at the rig, and said it's time to roll.. Ha ha

Glad to hear you had a great time. Hope the kids had fun fishing. Nothin' like getting them hooked while they're young (pun intended ) .

We actually like them both. Artillery Ridge probably a little more. Our boys just turned 3 so the playground is better here but the pool is better at Drummer Boy. We haven't rode the horses but the DW wants to do that.

Thanks. They had fun but still a little young (3). They really didn't get the concept of fishing but still had fun throwing the line in.

Sometimes those are the best. We have a campground within 20 minutes and can always get a site. Not much to do there but just the fact that we got away.

Sounds like everyone had a good time. We are on our third trip so far this year. We went back in the middle of February to a state park not far from our house, the next trip was over the Easter weekend, had a nice spot near the lake, it rained everyday we were except the day I arrived and the day I left. We did a 7 day to Seven Points near Nashville, TN, a week ago. Good camping trip but I had to drive home one day to mow the lawn, just a 20 mile trip one way. Not bad...counting down until the next trip.

Ya they are the best sometimes, but usually the most costly. Ha ha. Got 2hrs from home and realized my bank card was expired, forgot credit card in my other pants, and wife forgot purse, and I was out of diesel. Thanks to the wonderful lady at the campground everything turned out regardless. Thats what you get for being in a hurry.
