2 week trip

Just got home from a trip to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Las Vegas, Carlsbad Caverns, Oklahoma City, and many stops in between. All in all things went good, other than looking for a Walmart at 9:30 at night, RV battery took a dump. 5,207 miles, 102.1 hours of run time on the truck, averaged 51 MPH, pretty good considering I always expect a 50 MPH average. Maxxis tires held up, surprised, it gets HOOOOOT in the desert! Truck ran great, we got 12.3 MPG average. Had a great time, just sharing.

Awesome! We just got home from a 10 night trip to Lake Cumberland a few weeks ago.
We had planned on 7 nights, but it was just so nice we ended up staying longer! Glad the wife had left plenty of food out for the cat, LOL.

How did you like doing all those stops? We've tried both what we did this year where we stayed put for the whole time, and last year we did a trip with a bunch of stops. Both seem to have pros and cons.

I enjoyed multiple stops, we don't pull out all the lights, palm trees, and decorations to set up, we are pretty simple so it's nothing to pack up and go. The only thing with staying put is you gotta hope you end up in a good site with good neighbors
