Angry 2017 FRS 32DS Awning Light

During my last trip I had the awning LEDs turned on. When I closed the awing the lights flashed and quite working. After further inspection I found the wires for the LEDs went under one of the pivot point of the awning arm, which had been rubbing the insulation off the wire and ended up grounding out the wire.

I have fixed the wires and I figured I would have a blown fuse somewhere. I have looked in the fuse panel in the bed that is next to the circuit panel. I have checked the inline fuses in the battery box and CANNOT locate the fuse for the switch.

I have also checked the fuses that are located in the battery area just outside of the steps.

I have a 12V test light that I have tested the switch and there is no power coming into the switch for the LEDs.

Does anyone have an idea where the fuse may be located?

welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Look along the arms of the awning for an inline fuse.

I looked at the wires along the Awning arm and found no inline fuses. My question is, if there is no power at the switch inside the coach then there should be no power along the lines outside going to the LED, right?

On the wall near where the awning lights are will be a little blank panel like a wall socket plate but no holes. Unscrew that and inside you should find the controller for the remote and a little box. Most likely you will have to replace the controller sometimes there is a small fuse there too. You can get a new roll of lights remote and controller from amazon for about 20bucks. I found mine when I added a new length of leds under the trailer. You can daisy chain the leds together. Sorry should have said access panel is on the inside of trailer.
