2017 Super Duty New Towing Feature
FYI..I have been researching the new 2017 Super Duty and yesterday, at the Texas State Fair some new features were revealed. It appears that the truck will not only monitor the tire pressure of the truck tires but also the trailer tires. There will also be a camera available for the back of the trailer for rear vision. This will work with the rest of the cameras on the new truck.

Just told the DW , the other B. If you could imagine the response was they will appear in the dash just like the other cameras, not you just got a new truck that's too last for 10 yrs... Maybe the DW has the upgrade bug too... 😜

I saw a feature like this on the Range Rover it made the trailer look see through in the display so you could see all the way around .

Did you see that they are going to have a 12 pin trailer connector so you can feed the video to the TV. http://www.tfltruck.com/wp-content/u...-connector.jpg

Just looked it up. This truck appears to have so many totally new features. Hope Ford gets it to the streets as soon as possible.

They say it adds 350 lbs to the payload. plus they added 7 camara's plus a 360 degree one. They also came out with a new 5er hitch for it. Maybe Ford put a lot of whistles on it but still have not seen anything on the engine and power train. What was good that I thought of was the TST system to read the trailer also. B&B they had one with your name on it.

I read where they will go with the 6.7 but could not find HP or torque specs.
Transmission will likely remain the same.

I would like to see the apply some of the Eco Boost technology to their V-8 or v-10. But I suppose that might put too much competition on the diesel and they would miss out on those $'s.

Rumor has it, Ford is working on an Eco Boost V8 gasser.
